Ann Macarthur is the pen name for Keith and Rosemary Redfern who are the co-authors of the new novel Responsibilities.

Keith Redfern BA BSc is a retired teacher and charity administrator. Rosemary Redfern BA is a retired teacher and counsellor.

Keith’s first novel ''First Day Back'' was a cathartic expression of the frustrations within secondary education in the late 80s. His later works ''Apportionment of Blame'' and ''They had it Coming'' are detective mysteries featuring a young, new private eye. ''Responsibilities'' is an expanded version of ''Apportionment of Blame'', including a detailed backstory, much of which was written by his wife Rosemary.

Keith and Rosemary are widely travelled, but have now settled in beautiful Suffolk. They have three grown up children between them, five grandchildren and one gorgeous but precocious great granddaughter. Keith volunteers for the National Trust at Sutton Hoo, and also enjoys walking and trying to make sense of current affairs.
