[[The Wave by Morton Rhue]] is fantastic. If you're looking for more of a
fantasy adventure, [[:Category:Darren Shan|Darren Shan]] is rightly a favourite of many young readers at the moment and those who haven't read him before can jump on board with [[Birth of a Killer (The Saga of Larten Crepsley) by Darren Shan|Birth of a Killer]], the first in the Saga of Larten Crespley.
