SK: When I was a teenager, I read avidly – everything I could lay my hands on, which was basically the entire contents of Wycombe Library! I wasn't selective. I read the whole crime section, but I also read all the fantasy epics, contemporary novels, and world classics. Coming from a very traditional Indian background turned me into a complete a book junkie – it was one of the few activities that was actively encouraged!
