|summary=Dinosaur Poo does exactly what it says on the tin, using nice rhymes, bold pictures and interesting flaps and pop ups in order to discuss the world that all little children love, that of dinosaur poo!
}}
There are two things that I find are always popular topics when it comes to young children; dinosaurs, and poo. This book takes that very much to the next level in this rhyming book all about dinosaur poo. It does what it says on the tin.

It is full of bright and vivid pictures which are sure to capture the attention of most kids, and the addition of flaps and pop up pages give in nice little quirks to make it stand out just that little bit more from some of the many dinosaur books on the market. This nice hardback edition has good quality thick pages to make it a little more difficult for little ones to tear flaps when over excited. Books about poo do, often, make them somewhat over excited after all.

It has a nice rhyming structure, and I laughed out loud quite a lot when reading it to myself, so heaven knows what my three year old is going to make of it! I wouldn’t suggest that this was a book for the faint of heart, given that the dinosaur poos are discussed at great length and with illustrations which don’t beat about the bush, but I’m fairly certain my son will find this hysterically funny. In terms of potty training, I actually think this is a title which could help. If your child is uncomfortable about the subject, having a good laugh about all the different dinosaur poo is bound to help.

I like the inner and back cover, with all the different dinosaur names and illustrations, which I’m hoping other parents will have just as much difficulty pronouncing as I do. Over all, I’d say this book will definitely keep the kids entertained and laughing for quite some time. It might not be a work of astounding genius or revolution, but sometimes all you want to do is sit and have a laugh about dinosaur poo with your kids!

If it's more books about whiffy things that your kids are after, try [[Sir Scallywag and the Deadly Dragon Poo by Giles Andreae and Korky Paul]], but if you'd like more dinosaurs and a little less poo, you could try [[Don't Invite Dinosaurs To Dinner by Neil Griffiths and Peggy Collins]].
