A week in the Scottish Wilderness doesn't exactly sound fun, not to Alice King, but that's what she's about to embark on. This isn't the type of book I normally read, so I was a little sceptical, but I loved it. Its dark, it's gritty and it feels real. Alice is such a well written character; you really feel what she's going through. In fact all the characters are well written – believable. Told through the eyes of Alice when she gets home this book is fast paced and gripping. You really can't help but feel sorry for her – her and Tara were friends once. Plus, now she's falling for Tara's brother, Jack.
