'The Liar's Handbook' is part of Barrington Stoke's super-readable dyslexia-friendly series with a clear well-spaced font and thick off-white paper. This might put more confident readers off but this would be a huge mistake. This is a gripping story for ALL teens. It's also likely to appeal to adults and, given the quality of this story, I'll be making a point of reading as many Barrington Stoke Teen books as I can in 2017.
If you enjoyed this, why not try another from Barrington Stoke's 'super-readable' series. The Bookbag loved Peace Maker by Malorie Blackman and Senseless by Steve Cole. Alternatively, why not try one of Keren David's longer teen novels? The Bookbag enjoyed When I Was Joe.
Editor's note: whilst the interest age of The Liar's Handbook is teen, the reading age is eight.
