Author R Julian Cox has considered himself a professional writer for most of his life but ‘’Shadow on the Sun’’ is his first novel. He plans to write a further three together with a work of non fiction explaining some of the actual environmental background to this novel. He began life as a journalist writing for many national newspapers before moving into public relations and then forming his own publicly listed consultancy that grew to be one of the largest in the country. Later he formed two magazine publishing companies and was executive chairman of a large, Apple based, computer company.
