Antony Wootten was born in Berkshire in 1971. He was a primary school teacher for 19 years and has taught in a number of different schools, including several in London and one in Canada. He now lives in a cottage overlooking a quiet valley near Whitby in Yorkshire. As well as writing books, Antony has illustrated a few, and also paints the beautiful local scenery.
