It's a sturdy board book suitable for the youngest children and a valuable introduction to the world of books as they're almost certainly going to be familiar with the characters from the television series. The text is short and to the point but there's plenty to explore in every picture (which look rather like stills from the television series) from Timmy hoarding all the blue toys to Osbourne's delight in his own drink from a pink cup and Timmy's consternation when he finds a yellow building block in amongst the blue.
It's not going to be such an immediate delight for a child who isn't familiar with Timmy and his friends but there's still much pleasure to be had from the book. It's light-hearted and gives an introduction to the concept of colours although the emphasis is on just the one. If you're looking for a more rounded board book about colours you might be better with [[Mr Pusskins - Colours by Sam Lloyd]]. We also have a review of [[Timmy Says Sorry (Timmy Time) by Various]].
I'd like to thank the publishers for sending a copy to The Bookbag.
