Born in Sussex, Diana, now 67, has been living steadily further North since and now resides in Church Stowe, Northamptonshire – a village sometimes like ‘Dibley’ in a County she loves and values.

Married to William (and his cat!) she has children and grandchildren – these are the focus of her life. She plays golf and bridge, participates as a volunteer for a national charity as a ‘Visitor’, is a member of the WI, Nadfas and the National Trust and she arranges flowers and stitches/crochets unwanted gifts for her family!

Diana has always written things down but only after retirement did she concentrate! Odes and Prose for Older Women is a collection of short stories, poetry and prose specifically put together for her friends. They all say they are enjoying it! Largely humorous, there are nevertheless some darker pieces in the book – ‘just like life’ she says.
